diet with friends

So my friends and i are talking about losing those stubborn fats. Even the husband is "serious" with it. He started eating salad at night this week and so far so good. Hopefully he will get some good results with it. I've been trying for so long with little or no success. I am soo tempted to take those safe diet pills that work or so they say. I don't really know what else to do! really desperate here. buhu :(

apple convert

5 years ago, got myself my first apple nano. I just need something small I can use when hitting the gym. I actually prefer something that can play FM stations but hubby insisted on this one.

In 2010, I got myself an iPod touch. I wanted it more for reading e-books. Was reading my e-books on my Nokia E63 before this. :D

Last year, my iPod's home button died on me after hitting it's one year mark. No more warranty :( My e63, which was older by a year to the touch, was also showing signs of "dying". In short, hubby got me an iPhone :D

This year, I'm thinking of getting a Mac after being a PC user since DOS. LOL (Mind you, I was still in grade school then :P) Still 60% unsure since I rarely use my laptop now a days. But the geek inside me wants to get one so I can develop my own apps. LOL

*P.S. It wasn't a Nano that I got, it was a shuffle. toink!

forgetful me

Hubby was asking me about our savings back home this afternoon. Good thing he mentioned it 'cause I almost forgot that his insurance is due for payment already. I am not sure if it is a term life insurance or something else. I only hope that our money is safe with the company and it would not be a loss to us in the future. It is actually a good investment and I hope and pray that we will be able to collect on this in the future.

Away from home

Did I mention already that we are actually away from home? Well, we are since almost 6 mos ago. It's just temporary and we're going back in a few months.

Anyway, we celebrated Christmas and New Year away from home for the second time now. The first was in 2006 and that time, hubby was assigned in Michigan. Good thing about it, cheaper Christmas gift giving :D bad thing, we are only a few here. Me and my family, my sister (who we gave a sexy lingerie) and my aunt. Hubby's aunt and sister, although lives here in the US, are hundred of miles away from us. We celebrated New Year with them though, they were here for more than a week. :(
