I remember when I was still young, I was in to lots of sports. I got first introduced with track and field and somehow excel on it. Then there's our very own version of pinoy kids soccer game. This one I really love. I wonder why I can perfectly pitch a straight ball when I can't do it in bowling.
Then the most unusual thing happened. I learned how to play the basketball. I have this fear of catching balls (that's why I was just the pitcher in our soccer games) but I guess I conquered it when I tried to play the game. I can classify myself as a point guard or power forward. Good in defense and rebounds.
Then follows volleyball. This one I never perfected in High School. I can't serve good serve most of the time. But eventually, with practice, I was able to at least serve.
Then there's baseball. I was either the pitcher or base in the outfield. The only thing I don't like about the game is sharing Baseball Gloves with other students. You never know what's in their.
Other sports I have tried were: table tennis (or ping-pong) – during college years, bowling – from my first job and billiards – learned it thru hubby.
As of current, I am no longer active with any sports and how I miss playing in the field or in the court. At least I get to have some exercise!
