If my memory serves me right, I remember that Kuya Germs house was featured in a show. Part of his house is a home theater seating. I just can't remember what was his exact reason for creating such a room then. It sure was cool and I even wish I could have a room like that someday. Well, I must purchase a land first before that dream can come true.

I was not really aware that it is 5% possible that a child can have a cerebral palsy during childbirth. This is either caused by some medical malpractice which is really scary. I bet mothers here in the Philippines are aware about that 5%. In the US, they even have cerebral palsy lawyers who could help families that encountered hospital or medical malpractice. I wish they'll have one here too.

I think I need to find me acne cures for my stubborn acne. I used Diane for three months in order to fix the problem. I think, getting pregnant and breastfeeding for a year changes ones hormones. I even had a hormonal imbalance, probably my body was adjusting after almost 2 years of not getting my period. I actually saw another change in my body and it was also probably connected to my imbalanced hormones. Hopefully my body is now fine tuned.

Did you ever get an accident opening boxes with a knife or any sharp object like for that matter? There is a box cutter being commercialized by Martor USA. It guarantees user of safe use of the cutter.
I have not really had any accident with a knife as a box cutter. I think carelessness is a factor for accidents created by this. Maybe this gadget is a heaven sent for some but it does not really change the fact that a person is careless enough to get a cut. Just my honest opinion :D\

I wonder where our next vacation be? I think hubby really wants to have an Orlando vacations someday when the little princess is old enough to remember it. We have been to many places and the little princess would probably not remember any of it. She will only have pictures of the vacations but no memories of it. I am still be thankful for that since she is one lucky child to be able to go to places at a young age of 2 month old :D

I have a young guy officemate. I forgot why we had this topic but he was given an option to choose between a school girl outfit or a nurse outfit (read: kinky stuff). The look on his face was so funny, he was actually imagining things! Boys will really be boys. I forgot to mention to him about the French maid costumes and amongst the three, will he still choose the school girl outfit ala Britney Spears in “baby one more time” :D

Customer Service gone bad!
Anak ng potah ang aga-aga mabwi-bwisit ka sa mga taong parang kulang sa (ika nga ni maver) seks!
What happened? I went to BDO to pay for my credit card bill. My due amount is $147.14 so I brought $150 with me. Since I was just going down and paying a bill, I just brought my phone with me leaving behind my wallet and IDs. Wrong mistake!
When it was my turn, Ms. Jeanette assisted me with my bill. I handed her my payment slip, my bill and the money. I had the mistake of giving her the first page which is not the SOA. I said sorry and I don't know if that was the reason why she seems PMSing! She then told me that I can't pay the $0.14 since they don't give change, the smallest amount they can give me is a $1 bill. There's a way of saying it in a nice way where in customer wouldn't be caught surprised. I mean, napataas talaga kilay ko on how she told me that fact. So ok, kumplikahin natin ang buhay nya! I said, can't you just convert the change into peso?! So the $2.86 change should be converted into peso. Hindi daw pwede kasi para na din daw ako nagpapalit ng pera! They have a different system for payments, Forex etc. OK, fine. So now I was thinking, ang bulok ng system! So I said, sige, palitan na ang $50 at para matapos na. Or which ever isn't complicated or best approach for that, sya na ang bahala. Ok, mega explain nanaman sya. I need two valid IDs in order for me to have it converted to Peso. ANAK NG POTAH! E bakit pag magbabayad d na kailangan ng ID tapos pagpapalit kailangan? E sa kanila din naman pupunta yung pera kahit yung converted amount e! Hello, magkano lang sukli ko, all in PHP100+! Kulang na lang pala dapat sinabi ko keep the change na nga lang! Leche! So ok fine, I'll just pay the $147 para matapos na tong usapin na to! She then asked me (again, there's a nice way of asking a client) to write the serial numbers of the bills. So I did exactly that. And then she's gone! Didn't excused herself from the client/customer that she has to get something, basta na lang sya umalis! According to the other girl who was smiling at me and explained to me that DZHAN (name in Jeanette's ID) was just getting my $3 change. So I told the other girl, DZAHNs' bad in customer service, hindi man lang nagpa excuse! I know it's a bit maarte, still, a little courtesy should have been made!
Yun lang po!

I recently got my order for my portable toy. I was thinking that when the little princess gets a little bit older, she will understandably get my toy from me. As early as now, I got some games for her. Well, technically, it is for the two of us. You see, I still love to play Kids games, I am still young at heart you know *teehee*
Anyway, as much as possible, I don’t want to install games here in my laptop. I could probably set up my desktop again for the little princess to play with. Thank goodness for the internet, free games are with in our reach. Even if you are a Mac user, there are mac games available in Midoritech, you might want to check it out.
For an issue regarding global warming, there is a downloadable game available entitle: global warning. It will teach you and your family easy tips that can make a big difference in the world. Will you be part of the problem or part of the solution? This game is available for both PC and Mac users. Spread about this game so people around the globe would have an idea about what is really happening to our environment. That people are unknowingly killing mother earth.

After two years of waiting, we got pregnant and she is a baby girl. We got really excited since girls are nice to dress up. But during that period that I was pregnant with the little princess, we are not sure of our status if I am going to be able to follow hubby to the US or if I will be giving birth here in the Philippines instead. Because of this dilemma, I had a hard time deciding on what stuff to get for the baby. Should I buy a baby crib or not? We ended up buying one but it was never really used. I just gave it to my cousin whose wife also gave birth that same year.
When we were in the US, we tried buying the little princess a travel cot choosing from a wide selection of travel cots, we decided to buy the trusted name, Graco. But not even Graco can make the little princess stay inside so after a few days, we returned the merchandise.
Then when we got back here, we decided to buy the little princess a highchair. There are lots of highchairs to choose from and the good this was, I know what I wanted! And it was the best purchase we had since the little princess' still using it until now.

A local modus operandi called akyat bahay gang is on a prowl again according to the bulletin board in one of the zone here in our village. Having home security cameras would be a great idea. I have been actually contemplating on this since 2 years ago. Our neighbor even have 3 cameras in front, those are the ones we actually see from outside. I bet they also installed more at the back of their house.
We were actually almost robbed of a water meter. If not for our neighbor, we would have lost our water meter then. We have never been robbed to the point it went inside the house, but we were robbed of things thrice. The first one was when we were in my sister’s place, the culprit is actually trying to get our bike which is chained to our gate. Instead, he took our slippers! The next one was when we transferred back here in our place, our mono block chairs in the garage were stolen. And last was when I was already married, they took hamey’s slippers in the garage and yaya J and yaya G’s shoes. The culprit left my rubber shoes!
Anyway, we’ve added a sort of security in our street. Homeowners agreed to have a steel gate installed from end to end to limit vehicles and people from coming in and out of our street. Eventually I know I have to get that home cameras for the safety of our family.

Would it be nice if a vehicle tracking system is going to be available here in our country. It will be specially amazing if it can track vehicles, ANYWHERE, including all side streets. That will surely be one hell of a vehicle tracker if that happens!
This system will be of good use most especially to companies with employees on the go. As much as I do not want to say this, but there are some employees who take advantage of this sort of benefit of having field assignments. With vehicle tracking, you can see and track employee routes and probably how long they stayed in one place.
This will also be a good additional for taxis. Some drivers do not know where a passenger is going. Plus the head office would know who amongst the taxi is free and near a passenger in need of a taxi. This would also be beneficial in law enforcement when vehicles get stolen. If vehicles had this thing installed, it would make apprehending criminals a lot easier. Law enforcement can track the location of the vehicle and would probably be able to apprehend the criminals and their accomplices. It would drastically minimize the amount of stolen cars here in the country.

I love GPS! They have been around for awhile and have been commercialized with the use of GPS in vehicles. Those things are so cool given that you can go anywhere and the GPS will tell you where to go, what street you’re on, which exit to take when you’ve missed the last one, etc. You could even set it up so that it talks to you and gives you directions so you won’t have to look at the screen. You can even choose the voice you want it to use when it gives you directions. I always go for the female voice. That might be the first time you’d want a girl giving you directions!
I used this a lot when I was visiting relatives in Los Angeles. We flew in from Michigan and rented a car. Given that it was my first time in LA, I opted for the GPS GPS Vehicle Tracking system in the car that we rented. It was so useful and I never had that gut wrenching feeling you get when you don’t know the area. We were able to go to Disneyland, attend a friend’s wedding, drove through Rodeo drive and all without the nuisance of bringing a paper map with us. It just makes things easier and you can enjoy driving more since the GPS will never get you lost.

OMG! OMG! OMG!!!!!!
I can't remember if I left my flash drive in the office or lost it somewhere! sh!t! I hope I just left it in the office. But I perfectly remember that I removed it from my office computer but I can't remember where I put it. I usually do put it in my pocket jeans but realized this morning that it was not there. I emptied my pockets and put my stuff here in the table and it's not there! sh!t!!!! What's in there? An excel file of our house expenses (plus of course monthly income), my paypal earnings. Though there are no vital infos like username and password, but my resume is in it which all of you know has contact details. POT@H!!!!! I wish it's Monday already. Just to be sure that it is in the office. huhuhuhuhuhuhu!!!!
or if i indeed lost it, hopefully someone not techie finds it and throws it in the waste. pot@h talaga!

One of the most important things in the US when you have a baby is to have a car seat for the baby. It is a major offense there when you don’t buckle your baby in a car seat. Every state differes in age limit as to when they can stop using car seat or boosters or even probably sit in front.
Anyway, when we went back here in the Philippines, the little princess stopped using the car seat. She was spoiled to just being carried inside the car and wouldn’t allow us to buckle her in her car seat anymore. And since this is the case, her stroller is so big to carry around that we decided to check new smaller strollers for her to ride on while malling or going laces perhaps.
Unfortunately she wouldn’t ride her new umbroller either not until the day we traveled to Australia. Only say the magic words and we are good to go. And not only that, we also bought a car seat for her just recently. The magic words always works! *vroom! vroom!*

For those of you not in the know like me, I have mentioned this already before but to keep you in the light, what is CAT5e?
CAT5e
is a cable that is an enhanced version of Cat 5 that adds specifications for far end crosstalk. It was formally defined in 2001 as the TIA/EIA-568-B standard, which no longer recognizes the original Cat 5 specification. Although 1000BASE-T was designed for use with Cat 5 cable, the tighter specifications associated with Cat 5e cable and connectors make it an excellent choice for use with 1000BASE-T. Despite the stricter performance specifications, Cat 5e cable does not enable longer cable distances for Ethernet networks: cables are still limited to a maximum of 100 m (328 ft) in length (normal practice is to limit fixed ("horizontal") cables to 90 m to allow for up to 5 m of patch cable at each end). Cat 5e cable performance characteristics and test methods are defined in TIA/EIA-568-B.2-2001.

I worked for my previous job for almost 5 years. The company provides information services and technology for local financial markets. Amongst the perks we got from the company is being able to see financial market real time for free. Not only that, most of the officers are stock market players. We get to play once in a while with them. But even though this is the case, I have not really played in the forex trading. I was more concentrated on the stock market than the forex that I never had the chance to play with it.
Now a days, hubby is the one playing in the market. I have no more idea how the market fairs now a days unlike when I used to be wit my previous job, I know how to somehow evaluate a stock base from the historical data provided and of course an inside scoop.
Maybe someday, when I have the guts and the money to spend for playing. It is a risk I have to think 100 times specially that I have a history of just 1 out of 3 winnings. Playing the market is a gamble which I am not really good at.

When you are fresh out of college and unable to land your first job, it is hard to get a credit card just because you do not have any credit history that the banks can reference. But once you get a credit history going, you might now be able to get yourself a credit card. One website that I found that allows you to check for several credit card offers is this site called www.gettingacreditcard.com. It has all the information that you need to get a credit card. Credit Card Applications are now just a breeze and you can even look at offers from specific financial institutions. There is also a section that allows you to choose a particular type of credit card that fits your credit history to minimize the chance of your application getting rejected. Links to rewards, gasoline credits, airline credit cards and even prepaid debit cards are available in this website. There are also a lot of very recognizable credit card issuers in this website like American Express, Bank of America, Citi, Chase and HSBC. You can do a comparison on each of the issuers and see which one will fit you best. Overall a very good website with all the necessary information that you need to get a credit card.

What is the best diet pills available in the market? I am not yet really super desperate of getting thin but I want my options open :D. I have been meaning to lose 20 pounds of my current weight. Ok, let's make it 10 pounds first then let's talk about it again when I am 30 pounds lighter.
I really wonder why I don't lose weight despite of the stress from traveling (a.k.a traffic) and eating less compared to how much I eat before. Guys, help me. What's your secret?

My dad has a collection of wines. Take note, it is my dads collection, not mine. I just realized that we had a Wine Racks in our bridal registry 4 years ago (and I forgot who even gave that to us – blame it on the anesthesia) *grins* What could be my reason then for placing one in our bridal registry. I do not collect nor drink. Hubby drinks occasionally but he never collects. Maybe he is still young to even have a collection. *grins* What do you think? At least we don't need more wine racks at the moment and hopefully not in the coming future. Though they say wine tastes better as it ages, hubby on the other hand would rather open a bottle once in a while. So you see, I do not think hubby could ever collect in the essence that the unopened bottle will last long to stay with another unopened bottles :D
Anyway, you can’t count me in from collecting wines. I would rather collect other stuff like picture frames, magnets from countries or cities I have been to, key chains and mugs. These are actually my current collections specially the magnets and picture frames. ;)

Taking baths has always been one of people’s favorite things to do. Even Cleopatra was once said to take baths with milk as water. It feels so relaxing and you feel rejuvenated afterwards.
This website has all the bathroom fixtures that you need. Their products range from bathroom tiles to Jacuzzis. They even have bathroom accessories like shelves and towel racks. But the best thing that I like about this website is that they sell Jacuzzis. These things are the ultimate in bathroom comfort. I could just imagine myself soaking in one of this website’s Jacuzzis all day. The items here look very classy and they will add personality to anyone’s bathroom. Your bathroom will look and feel like a bathroom from a five star hotel.
Some of the bathroom accessories are also on sale and they are not too shabby at all. They also will ship your choice of bathroom fixtures so you don’t have to worry about getting them. Their delivery time is anywhere from 7 to 14 working days. That is not a long time to wait for your bathroom suites. I can just imagine sitting in one of their tubs and feeling all my stress melt away.

The little princess and I never had the chance to see New York City Attractions last time that we were in the US. We only had the opportunity to go to Chicago and Los Angeles. New York would probably complete our list if not only it was too far from where we are. We can’t really afford to buy plane tickets for the three of us for a super short vacation and so the option left for us is to go by land, a long drive that is. And since the little princess was still too young for those kind of adventures, we opt to skip going there. Instead, my aunt-in-law and sister-in-law from Rochester went long driving from their place to Saginaw. If given an opportunity to go back in the US again, I would like to go to New York and see the Times Square and Niagara Falls though they say that it has a better view in Canada. That is another story.
Hopefully in the future, when the little princess is old enough to travel (meaning, no longer in nappy and drinking milk from baby bottles), we could go places as far as the US and Europe.
Here’s for more income and time to spent for traveling. ;)

GPS use has been around for quite some time and you can see it in everyday use like GPS in vehicles. Some people are against it because they say that it intrudes on their privacy. But for all its disadvantages, I think that the advantages far outweigh the negative side especially in this dangerous and dynamic world of ours.
I came across this website GPS Tracking that offers GPS tracking using a small pocket sized device that you can use. It is so lightweight and easy to handle but powerful at the same time. It gets its signal from 24 GPS satellites orbiting around the planet. It determines the location of the GPS device within 2.5 meters. This is useful for law enforcement or for everyday use for that matter. It is water resistant so you can even it under water. It also has a magnet so you can place it under a vehicle and be able to track the location of that vehicle. This what makes it so powerful and will surely be a crime deterrent.
The cool thing about it is you can connect the tracking key to the USB port of your computer and instantaneously view the location of the GPS device via Google Earth. How cool is that?!?!

And since my dad has a collection of wines, whiskeys and the likes, he made sure to ask the architect who made the blue print of our new house to place a mini bar in one of the rooms. I was too young to remember but the only request I made was to have my room bigger. :D Well, I did not get my wish since my parents room was twice the size of my room.
Anyway, the bar was just a small space in the family room. It is not totally a bar room since it does not have bar stoolsor the likes. I have thought of buying two but it would not blend in the room not unless I find a stool made of wood which will make it heavier. Plus, it would not be a good idea now since we have a toddler at home who always occupies that said room. She plays and watches her favorite TV shows there. Even our center table is now out of place since it is now placed at the far end side of the room were the toddler would not notice. Maybe when she is old enough, we can fix the interior of that room again.

I was watching the news awhile ago and as expected, one of the headlines for tonight was the weekly price hike of gas.
Oil companies would like to give it one blow but as this one motorist pointed out, what is the assurance that oil companies can give that after the one blow, no more price hike will follow?
It was also stated in the news that our country has the lowest gas price in Asia. E hello naman, tumataas ba sweldo natin? San naman kaya pumupunta ang tax natin, sa mga kurakot!? Buti sana if we see good outcome from our contributions. Hay, and people wonder why some leave the country. Wala na ba talaga tayon pag-asa?

Time heals all wounds
Or so they say. I don't know if it really works. It's been 11 years and I still hate the guts of this certain girl. Actually, I think I don't hate her anymore, it's all in the past but it doesn't mean I forgot already and that I want to be associated with her. NO WAY! Nakakasuka ang ugali nya! Again, I am not a saint but please, compared to her? Ilang tao or men to be exact ang napaikot nya? I can't take it. Is it really part of survival? Talaga bang nag gagamitan lang tayong lahat? Maybe yes, pero mahirap kasi yung gamitan which involve feelings or emotions. Or is it she's just "hunting"? *LOL* Diba men do the hunting?
O well, I am happily married and it all what matters now.
And from the sound of it (my post), mukang naiinis pa din ako sa kanya. bwahahaha!!!

Have you ever bought one of those treadmill or any other stuff being advertise in TV? I am sometimes tempted to buy one or two stuff from it but try my best to resist and not to buy at all. Plus, you could actually buy those items in the department store. For now, I don’t see nay need for any of those item being sold in TV or in the mall.

What I miss most about our stay in the US is the outlet malls and the sales specially on a non-winter weather. Well, one good thing being there also is that you can do online shopping. We’ve had many stuff bought over the internet and best buy we had probably purchased was all our electronic stuff. Not to mention those we got free after rebates ;)
O, how I wish we have things like that available here in the Philippines.

A tragedy happened during typhoon Frank, a ferry capsized and hundreds of people including children died from that tragedy. Some say that the bodies are already unrecognizable since it was under water for too long. Some suggests DNA testing but reports say that they wouldn’t want to do it. I don’t know who doesn’t want to do it, the government or the ferry owners. It’s an expensive test but out of respect for the dead people and the family, please have it part of your “kawang gawa”.

Warning: Lait Pooh-st
While watching Tigger and Pooh awhile ago, I noticed one feature of Pooh. If you haven't heard about the joke, Pooh's gender is actually being questioned by others. Some say s/he's a she. Why? Because of her hanging shirt. Well, I'm not really sure what Pooh's gender is, I just assume he's a he. And if he is really/supposedly a he then I have to add something to the hanging shirt theory. I noticed that his eyebrows are like Darby's or it's formed like as a trimmed eyebrows of women. *giggle* I thought it was made like that for all. But I try to observe Piglet's, Roo's and even Rabbit's eyebrows, walang pagkaka ila, they are all shaped differently. Don't get mad at me, it's just an observation :D

You know you are...
an idiot driver when:
1. you take all lanes when turning right when in fact there are incoming vehicles from the left. Mga repapeeps naman, take the outermost lane before going in wag ura-urada, nakaka irita e!
2. you block the intersection or the pedestrian lane. classic example: Makati Supermarket in ATC. There's a pedestrian lane going to and from the parking. Mag isip naman kayo! A grocery cart also uses that lane! Wag maging dupang!
3. you, from the unloading zone (in connection with #2), try to push your way to the left where there are hundreds of cars in line. Anak ng put@ naman e, pumila ka naman ng matino!
4. you, a college degree holder(or even higher), act like an idiot. Gets mo?! May pinag aralan ka naman, gamitin mo naman!
5. you, who is probably in his 50s, also act like an idiot. Gets mo?! Parang wala kayong pinagkatandaan, wala ba kayong natutunan over the years of experience?!
6. you are in the fast lane when in fact you drive about 60KPH. Anak naman ng put@ ulit o, d purket babae ka lagi ka na lang pagbibigyan. Iangat nyo naman kredibilidad natin! Same goes with the guys who drive like this.
7. you drive like a maniac. Please lang, wag ka ng mangdamay ng ibang tao. If you want to die, do it on your own! Tumalon ka na lang sa building!
8. you parked at the parking space for disabled or with disability. Hello!? (#4 and 5)
9. you try to park when you don't really even know how. I saw this one coming but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Ayun, binangga nya kotse ko na walang kamalay malay na naka park! According to her, she didn't saw my car. Ano yun kabote, bigla na lang sumulpot!
10. you can't even choose which lane to take and in the process taking more than one lane. Ano ba, d mo pag-aari ang kalsada no!
On a lighter note. While in SLEX last night, we saw this Toyota (jazz type) car with a written note at the back: "CAUTION: NEW LADY DRIVER" or something to that effect. It was really funny! I was not able to take a picture of the note since she was driving slow, it was too late when hubby pointed it out to me. :D
I am not 100% good driver but I am neither a bad driver. I follow simple rules and can still play the game. I can say, d naman ako aanga-anga sa kalsada no! Ewan ko iba dyan :D
