Practice what you preach
I am not a war freak but some things just really irks me to bits specially our very whiny neighbour. You see, I have a firsthand experience of how whiny she can be. Well, I understand her point and she actually has one. But please, do not do the same mistake you have been whining to almost all your neighbours, practice what you preach!
This neighbour had an issue with our other neighbours. The issue is all about parking space, their drive way and their rights. I fully understand that people must really know the etiquette when it comes to driveways, properties and parking. The problem is, they know their rights and really fight for it and even go dramatically over acting just because their driveway’s being slightly blocked by our neighbours car. But when it’s them, they don’t mind blocking other’s driveway. They do not even make an effort to guide their guests to at least park their car properly.
For now, I don’t mind being labelled “masungit”, nasa pangangatiwaran naman ako!

Love and Showbiz...
I like local and international "tsismis." And for about a month or so now, there was a rumor about D and K splitting. No body denies or admits the true status of the relationship. Then just awhile ago, it was confirmed that they are no longer an item since two months ago. I really like them as a couple and I feel sad to hear the news about their break-up. They say it's K's karma since she stole D from A when D and A were still an item. Some say that it was D who stole K from her then boyfriend. But you know what I just realized, if D and M are indeed an item, then there's already a pattern with D's actions.
When D and A were paired up, they eventually got involved. When A left the country and D was paired up with K, they hooked up just like from Ds previous relationship. Now, Ds being paired up with M and I bet, the reasons they would probably say why they, D and K, broke up was
a.) because they don't have time for each other anymore or
b.) a career move
which I think is bull really. Why? No matter how hectic your schedules are, you'll find time to see, talk or even dine out together. It doesn't have to be extravagant but at least the effort is there.
My point, if there's a will, there's a way. If you nourish the habit of not making time, then the relationship is really up to no good. And d ko na love si papa D! hmp! Pero sige na nga, I'll wait for their statement.

Remembering Rome
I was lucky to be able to travel the Euro country when one currency for eleven countries was being implemented. In line with this, one visa to one of the then 11 countries can make one travel around those other countries included in the One Currency law. This was my first international vacation and was lucky enough to be able to visit 6 out of the 11 countries namely: Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Luxembourg and Netherlands. Was able to pass by Belgium but that’s it, just passed by it.

Discriminated?
I have been meaning to blog about a school which I won't be naming for now. I am not actually sure about the info I got since I haven't really talked to the people concern regarding the issue. I just learned from my sister that my cousin's daughter was supposedly going to transfer at my sister's kids school so that she could be with her 2nd cousins. But according to my sister, my cousin's daughter was not admitted to that school since one of their regulations for being a Catholic school is to admit students whose parents are married in Church. And since my cousin was only married civilly, the daughter was not admitted. This I think is discrimination and it's not the kids fault if there parents are not married. I just hope this is not true, nakakalungkot namang isipin na pati mga Madre e nagdidiscriminate din. *tsk! tsk!*

Looking for a London Parking for Rent? Try www.parklet.co.uk for renting needs. You will get to Rent a private parking space which can be charge on a monthly basis. Prices are cheaper than other companies. It is like having a prepaid or reserved personal parking space from a lot of secure, underground spaces, and garages. Or if you have extra space, Parklet also offers a hassle free way to have that extra space rented out. Parklet does not only rent out parking spaces, they also sell spaces.
Parking is really a big deal specially here in the Philippines and most probably around the globe. Two of the most important places here in the Philippines that needs more parking are malls and offices or establishments. For people like me, I like to go places where there are ample car park spaces. I have too little patience to wait for available space. That is why as much as possible, I try going out on times most likely places are not crowded. Avoid rush hours and going on malls on weekends or holidays. Even going to the little princesses doctor, we do it on a weekday. When scheduling a meeting, I try to make a condition that I can leave before rush hour to avoid traffic.
So how about you, what’s your tip?

it's nice talking to an old friend again. It's been ages since we last talked. Hopefully we can meet again one of this days to catch up on things. *sigh* I miss those days when school and love life were the biggest problem that we have.

In my early SAHM days, I never actually did anything to earn extra for the family. I was literally a stay at home mom who took care of her baby. But with the blooming business of SPs, I had the motivation to work extra and earn from it. It started small then I aim big. Hopefully, I can sustain the quota I made for myself every week. Maka quota lang ayus na. :)
I still try to look for other means. We can never say up to when SP can sustain the demands of blooming bloggers. I must act now so that eventually I'll have a fallback. Ikaw, anong pinagkaka-abalahan mo?

Torn
I am torn between being happy or sad about the Peso-Dollar exchange. Since I am somehow earning in $, I am happy when the Peso weakens against it. But as a Filipino, I have to be sad since this is sort of a sign of economic straggle. The stronger the Peso is against USD, the better for the economy. So the question is, should I be selfish and be happy of the weakened Peso (more moolah for me) or be sad (less moolah for me)?

SLEX = Stress
I love driving. I have been driving since I was 3. Well, it started from sitting at my dad's lap until I was tall and old enough to drive. But I don't like traffic and just recently, SLEX. It's kind of stressful traversing that highway, next to EDSA. Or am I just being naninibago since I never really drive far since the day I got married. O well, at least I don't drive along those roads everyday. Ka-stress!

What is the weirdest thing you have done so far? Me, typing while my eyes closed. I am really too sleepy to "work". Can I possibly take a break from all of this? This eventually is too tiring even if it means earning more. *sigh*

How would you describe the weather at your place? I woke up this morning quite puzzled as to why it feels like morning when it's still dark outside. I don't know if it's still the rainy season here. All I know for a fact is that our climate is changing! only prayers could probably save us now from Global warming. *sigh*

To tell or not to tell
If you are not close to a person and yet you know this person has done something unacceptable, would you tell that person?
There are times that we truly don't know that we are eventually hurting another person with our actions. If I am ever in this kind of situation, I'd rather have that person tell me what's wrong rather than backstabbing me for what I did. I know we can't please everybody BUT there's a difference between doing the act just one time (which we can eventually let go of) compared to doing it most of the time or it being a habit already.
At the end of the day, we ourselves can gauge and decide what to do with the not so good information. It doesn't mean we must change. We can either get affected, change for the better or forever be blinded that what we are doing is just right.

I would like to very much have a selfish wish granted for my coming birthday this December. I of the many selfish wishes I have a vacation with the husband, alone! Perhaps we could go on a cruise and choose from many Mediterranean cruises available online. We could actually bring the little princess with us but for some reason, she gets to difficult to handle with out her nanny in tow which I don't plan on doing. Well, maybe next time, when the little princess is old enough to be left alone. Counting 2 more decades perhaps.

I do not know anything about trading before my first professional job. I got to learn more about it thru my first work since the company deals on developing software in line with trading. Playing is a risk. Something I took and fortunately had a positive outcome. I won once and lost more times and plenty of money playing the trade.
If you are interested and want to learn more, visit futures trading.

I am suppose to give a diet pill reviews but I can no longer stay awake. I am too sleepy that I should be sleeping right now. It is already pass midnight and here I am still awake. If staying late could just help me lose some weight, then I will always stay up late until I reach my goal.

Hooray for BPI & BDO
I was suppose to blog this morning about wishing me luck this afternoon since I am going back to my favorite bank. Thank goodness there was no line and all tellers are in their stall! All as in all 4 tellers are inside their stall! What I just hate about the trip was the parking. It used to be fee within 15 minutes, now it's just 10 minutes. If I didn't probably forgot to deposit my check, I would have had a free parking. *pft*
re: BDO, Alabang Branch. Really, parking is the most difficult part specially when banking alone. Good thing that I had one this afternoon and our favorite guard was there. My errand was such a breeze and a nice experience. For a change. *grins*

I want some Harley
I dreamt of having my own scooter since I was a kid but my dad was reluctant since it was a dangerous ride.
As I grew up, I was fascinated with Harleys and other big bikes. I know it is an unusual for girls like me to even like things like that. Well, I guess there was a reason why the liking never really lasted. It would probably an expensive hobby, expensive ride and would probably have hard time finding Harley parts here in our country.
I'd settle for a two door sports car then. *grins*

Vegas Vacation
Why would I like to have a Vegas Vacation in the future? Well, one, we have a place to live and we do not need to look for vegas hotel. That is one major vacation consideration since budget wise, it takes much of your allowance. Second, both hubby and I want to try the feel of playing in one of the casinos there. Well, I can go without trying it as long as I can shop nonstop! :)

We bought lots and lots of Votive candle holders for this years All Saints and Souls day. Too bad our family could not make it this year as we have been sick since this week. I would not like to risk specially my little princess' health. She is way too young for this. I know my relatives would understand, specially the dead ones :)

Good bundle catch
Hubby just found out this good catch from BestBuy.com. He wants to buy himself a PS3, perhaps a gift for himself this Christmas. The good catch in BestBuy is a bundle of a Sony 40" HDTV, a Sony sub woofer and the PS3 for about $1600 all in all. Since all rooms has TV, we must sell one TV if we really want to buy the bundle. But the new 40" TV will not fit our existing tv furniture here in our family room. I guess we must sell it too and just buy a new one.

I wanted to shift career since 4 years ago but there were no opportunities for me since then. I never wanted any jobs in marketing but if an opportunity knocks in my door and the price is right, then maybe I can do it.
I am more interested on a Human Resources or Purchasing job but knowing how companies here in the country, they prefer someone who actually graduated from a course related to the position or someone with experience which I happen to lack.
Maybe someday.

Are you insured?
Why do you think you need a North Carolina health insurance for you and your family? It is to insure that if anything happens to you or your family's health, you do not need to worry about hospital or Doctor's fee. You will have the courage to seek for medical help unlike those who does not have health insurance. not that they are afraid of Doctors and Hospitals, it's more of how to pay and being in debt with them. If there's an option, go with it. Life is much important than anything else.

hooray for Union Bank
I forgot to blog our good Union Bank experience last week. You see, my mom has this GSIS eCard where she supposedly receives her pensions. I can't remember when exactly she got the card but what I do remember is that upon receiving the card, we changed the pin to something we/I can easily remember and threw the paper with the original PIN. When we tried it the following month, the machine did not accept the PIN and it was even locked out online stating that I have tried too many times. We inquired about having it changed but the lady from Union Bank told us that it was not possible to have it changed at their branch. We were discouraged. Good thing though, the cheque pensions were still being delivered to us until May of this year. But starting June, the pensions were automatically debited to the eCard account.
Since my mom was in the US, we only had time to check and get the money from the account this month. We were asked by the teller how come we were not withdrawing it from the machine. We told him the dilemma and he delivered us the good news! My mom can have a new card from their branch! The same branch we went before. Hang sungit talaga nung babae, baka old maid! So there, my mom signed up for a new card and the teller was even the one who entertained us. I reminded my mom to get his name and give him a gift on Christmas. I really appreciate good gestures like this, people who give values to customers. Sarap nila i-hug! :D
We'll get the new card after two weeks and we'll know if it is really still a GSIS card.

Should I give in to hubby's request for PS3 or not? I know he wants but when I offer he says no. What does that really mean? Is it like a girl thing? We say no but we meant yes or no means no. mind you, among the two of us, he's the one more fickle minded. So maybe no means yes after all. what ya think? :D

Still on Philippine banking system
If it weren't for their good online service, I will really transfer to another bank. Oh, not really an option because it seems that every bank's service is not 100% good.
I was at BPI the other day to deposit a check. There was one lady depositor at the counter and a man in line. So I was kind of relieved that there's no long queue that day. Bad trip! They took 20 minutes before I was called and even the man in front of me waited that long before he was served. What irritated me most was, some of the personnel (who I assume are not really tellers) were just sitting there as if waiting for 5PM laughing and chatting. They could have at least helped the tellers since really, few minutes after I arrived, there was already a long queue. About 3 to 4 more people at my back waiting for their turn to be called. Anak naman talaga ng toot toot o! *sigh* Wala na talaga atang pag-asa umasenso ang Pinas!

Where are you Globe?
Times like this, I need a cell signal booster.
I was informed by yaya J awhile ago that people are panicking at the village plaza since people does not get Globe signal, one of the local telecoms here in the country. As I made a survey, it seems that not everybody's affected. Hubby has a signal and most people not from the south has one too.
Oh, just check my phone now, I have a strong signal already. But still, I am curious, what really happened to Globe's service tonight?

While checking out Fashion Boots, I have noticed other shoes from the site more particularly Anne Michelle’s version of Balenciaga Lego shoes from Balenciaga’s Fall 2007 RTW line and that of Steve Madden’s own version of Lego shoes which is, I think, exactly the same of Anne Michelle’s product. I can’t help but wonder which of the 2 is the original owner of the replica design. I have been searching the net for more information. I am actually having difficulties on finding Steve Madden’s own version of the Lego shoe. I can’t even find it on their own site. Perhaps, the reason behind this is that this is so last year.
Anyway, I find shoeocean.com a benefit since I have another blog which deals about shoes. More of shoes I like or find nice. But most of the things I see are too expensive for me. The furthest thing I can have those shoes is if they ever appear in my dreams. Good thing shoeocean.com features shoes that are not way too expensive or which my budget can actually afford to buy. If not for their site I would not know that besides Steve Madden’s shoes, there’s also anne michelle shoes which I think are really just one and the same.

Guess what I did today beside oversleeping this afternoon? I tried my newly downloaded DS Clubhouse game. I tried resisting playing Texas Hold ‘em by playing billiards, bowling and darts first. And since I won the games, I gave in and tried playing Texas Hold ‘em. It’s addicting! Well, I am getting addicted since I can’t win the game. I am so OC that I want to win it. I am just 2nd best. I am really not lucky with such games. Before I tried this card game, my favourite card games are Blackjack and Hearts. I am not much into these games now. I am more of the Sudoku gamer right now. Geeky!
I am tempted to play again and hoping I would not be so addicted that I would play and try online casino because of this addiction. The husband actually played poker last night after the little princess’ birthday party celebration. Played against R and S. Unfortunately, he lost. R and hubby lost against S, the rose amongst the thorns. They were actually asking me to join but I refused. Besides, I was busy opening little princess’ gifts last night. We actually had fun on our own besides the gamers.
