I like the idea of college student loan they have in the US. It at least encourages students to go to school and earn a degree. It gives the kids independence and a less burden for the parents specially those that are not well off. Unlike here in our country, I don't think the idea is going to work since first and foremost, we lack good work opportunities here that will help students pay off their debts. What's even worse is that there maybe good companies waiting to hire and train graduates but some are kind of prejudice. Why/how? I don't know if this still happens today but when I was a fresh graduate, I would sometime see ads that seeks professionals who graduated from, according to them, the top 4 university namely UP, Ateneo, DLSU and UST. I believe that there are others who may not graduate from these mentioned schools but can still compete in terms of knowledge and capabilities. Not because they did not graduate from very known schools means they are not as good as those who graduated there.

What I learn from being a CS student was to always, I mean ALWAYS make sure to backup your files. Save every so often while working and backup those save files. We only have disks as backup then. No available online backup for us to save our work. Imagine how many disks we carry that time. And hey, oour dsiks is way smaller the original floppy discs. And colorful too! Now, it's much easier for students. They either have the option to just carry usb flash drives or back file up online. Swerte!

I do not like drinking water. I know it is important for our survival but I am telling you this, I do not and I cannot drink plain water. I have calamansi (lime) juice without sugar all the time. I do not know when this started but I guess when we were still drinking boiled tap water. Even with water filter (that may not be sophisticated as wf2cb), I still can't take it plainly. What is even weird is that I feel like drowning when drinking water. Can there be an explanation to that?

I never got rid of this dark circle around my eyes. I can't remember when I started getting these. I am not sure if it was after I gave birth or even before that. And that was 3 years ago and I still have those! Even if my baby already sleeps thru the night, I guess being a mom definitely changes everything. A little movement from the little princess will wake me up in the middle of the night worried that there might be something wrong. O well, even with the eye bags, the rewards of being a mom is enough consolation for that. :)

my own Xenical
Got to see my doctor last weekend and I was prescribed to continue my meds and she actually prescribed me a higher dose compared to what I was taking few months back and I have to take it twice a day. Guess what happened! It felt like I was chunking on castor oil. It was bad! But on second thought, I could probably lose belly fat this way :D But it was really bad. I was thinking of just taking 2 meds at one time after dinner but I think I have to ask my doctor about this first. boo!

Barong-Tuxedo-Suit
Not a good combination but these are the formal attires men can use to wear for formal gatherings. This is one thing I envy men, they can use their attire more than once and people will never see the difference at all. Just have a nice barong or a nice tuxedo shirt and suit, nice pair of shoes plus add on a presentable hair cut and you're ready to go in probably 30 minutes of preparing.
While girls have so many dilemmas from the dress (color, length and style), shoes (remember that not any shoes goes with any dress or piece of clothing), the hairstyle (same with shoes, hairstyle must also be coordinated with the dress), bag and accessories. That takes about a day or more to prepare :D

Funny signs
This I guess should have been one of the exit signs for the establishment and not meant as an entrance sign cause it sure is confusing!
Another even funnier sign...
I do not know if these are real or photoshopped (also known as edited). This is it for now, there are more funny signs around the globe, try to google it ;)

even more space
HAHAHAHAHA! I know! sorry for the titles. But I just thought that it's even going to make me have more space in our room if we get rid of our tv standwhich means getting rid or change our TV to flat screen which we will just mount in the wall.. Oh, I like!!! but then, where am I going to put my Wii, on the floor? or maybe we just get a very tiny stand. :D Gets me excited. But not this year. We have made extra expenses this year. *woot! woot!*

more space
We now have more space in the bedroom when we rearranged the beds (ours and the little princess'). I was thinking of doing yoga or belly dancing there now. More inclined to do it but more inclined to buy a Wii and get Wii fit :D Or probably buy a more cheaper exercise equipment like the Kettlebell. But compared to Wii, I can play other games with the console. The only problem is the little princess. I don't want her getting used to having electronic gadgets in the house. I want her interacting with other kids instead. Diba?!

in need of a vacation
We've been missing summer vacations since last year. Instead, we travel out of the country around June. Do not get me wrong, not that it is a bad thing but I miss having fun in the sun at the beach. The last time we had a beach vacation was after the little princess' first birthday in 2007. I asked the husband if we can have another summer vacation next year. That is if our budget permits. I am even OK to have it as near as Batangas, but not in Anilao. Again, don't get me wrong, I love Anilao BUT since we're from there, let us just say I like some new scenery :D Plus, Anilao is not really kid friendly.
Anyway, I am optimistic that we can have a summer vacation next year. I am skipping the special orlando vacations offered over the net.

next year's summer activities
I don't know where I could get an accurate weighting scale but I love those that gives me lower result :D The last time I checked my weight since I started my no rice diet up until now (that is probably 3 to 4 months now), mine still the same. I guess I really need to hit the gym once again to help the dieting. All I really want to do is yoga and belly dancing. This gave me an idea. I could probably join my little princess when I enroll her for ballet next year. Though we won't be going to have the same schedule, we will be enroll in the same dance school :) At least this way, I don't need additional appetite suppressants. *woot! woot!*
